The Hunter 10,000 BTU (6,500 BTU DOE) Portable Air Conditioner is designed to quickly cool, dehumidify, and circulate fresh air in a room up to 450 sq. ft. Traditional units require permanent installation, but this portable unit can be easily moved from room to room in your home with its caster wheels, transport handle, and easy-to-install window kit. It features a self-evaporative system to remove excess moisture through the window exhaust, reducing the need for frequent draining.

The included window installation kit is easy to install in most vertical and horizontal sliding windows between 18-50 inches wide. Once installed, you can adjust the thermostat anywhere between 61-86 degrees Fahrenheit. This unit also has 3 operating modes (Cool, Dry, and Fan), multiple fan speeds, remote control, quiet operation, an 8-hour sleep timer, LCD display screen, washable filter, adjustable air discharge louvers, caster wheels, transport handle, and a limited 1-year warranty.

With a 10,000 BTU cooling capacity, this portable air conditioner is powerful enough to keep you cool all summer long. The self-evaporative system venting excess moisture through the window exhaust, and the built-in dehumidifier can remove up to 2.45 pints of moisture every hour. It is important to note that this unit is not suitable for use with crank windows.
